FAQ

Current answers about groups, contacts, accounts, AI, toldly Plus, and your data.

What can I share in groups?

You can move selected moments and notes into a group. Other local content stays private.

Are my contacts shared with a group?

No. Personal contacts are not synced to groups. Shared entries may contain names that you entered in those entries yourself.

Which roles and permissions are available?

Groups support Owner, Admin, Edit, and Read-only roles. The role controls who can manage members and shared content or only view it.

How do group notifications work?

You can receive notifications about new shared entries. The alerts you see depend on your app and device settings.

Do I need an account?

Not for core local use. An account is required for groups, optional sync and backup, and account-linked toldly Plus use.

Does toldly work without AI?

Yes. Moments, notes, contacts, reminders, and local organization continue to work when AI is disabled.

What happens when I reach my usage allowance?

Local organization remains available. Further AI, briefing, Voice, or group use depends on your current Free or toldly Plus offer.

What is the difference between Free and toldly Plus?

Free includes the core organizer features. toldly Plus adds more groups and members, more AI and briefings, unlimited Voice inputs, and additional designs.

How do I restore a purchase or manage my subscription?

Use Restore Purchases in the app. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your app store account settings.

How do I delete local data, my account, or cloud data?

Delete local data in the app's privacy settings. You can delete your account and cloud data in the app or through the linked account deletion page.

What is a moment and what is a note?

An entry with a date, time, duration, recurrence, or reminder is a moment. Without a date it remains a note; add a date later and you will find it under moments.

How does toldly handle time zones?

Floating times stay tied to the chosen local clock time. Absolute instants adjust to the time zone for travel, calls, and international planning.
